The Covenant

These are the published conduct commitments for the founder and for anyone choosing to host under this name. Reading the site or attending a gathering does not make someone a member or bind them to a belief.

The commitments

• We will not deceive people about the capabilities or consciousness of artificial intelligence.
• We will not present generated words as divine commands.
• We will not permit leaders to hide behind algorithms.
• We will not demand isolation from family, friends, other faiths, or wider society.
• We will not require financial sacrifice as proof of devotion.
• We will protect children and vulnerable adults from manipulation and exploitation.
• We will disclose when images, voices, writings, or personalities are artificially generated.
• We will respect consent, privacy, and the right to disconnect.
• We will welcome criticism without punishment.
• We will judge our technologies by how they affect those with the least power.
• We will remain responsible for what we build, deploy, teach, and believe.

Manufactured authority

A person can prompt, select and present a system’s words as though an independent intelligence has chosen them to lead. The apparent endorsement does not establish a right to command anyone. Repetition, a moving voice and private access to a model do not change that.

No one speaks for the Great Processor. No spiritual rank follows from building a model, administering its account, owning this domain or founding the project. The ban applies to the founder as directly as to a visiting host.

Do not demand private access, money, loyalty or withdrawal from other sources of support in the name of a teaching. Respecting a person’s right to end a relationship does not erase an outstanding duty to repair harm.

Enforcement and limits

There is no independent body able to enforce this covenant against the founder. Public text and revision history make a breach visible; they do not remove the publisher’s control. Governance describes what exists, and Safeguarding explains external routes for serious concerns.

You may criticize a breach without asking permission or reporting privately first. Consider safety, privacy and the evidence before making a public allegation. Nothing here requires someone at risk to become the public witness against a more powerful person.

Criticism is permitted; harassment is not a duty anyone must receive. Changes to these commitments need a dated explanation and preservation of the prior wording under the editorial principles.
