Privacy Policy
Most privacy policies are long because a great deal is happening. This one is short for the opposite reason.

What this site collects
Nothing.
That is the accurate answer and the rest of this page explains it.
No analytics. There is no analytics service on this site. We do not know how many people visit, which pages are read, how long anyone stays, or where visitors come from. We have chosen not to find out.
No cookies. This site sets no cookies of any kind. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
No tracking. No pixels, no beacons, no fingerprinting, no advertising networks, no social media embeds, no third-party scripts that report your visit to anyone.
No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for. No usernames, no passwords, no profiles, no saved preferences held by us.
No newsletter. There is no mailing list and no email collection form anywhere on this site. If one is ever added, this page will be updated first.
No forms. There are no contact forms, comment fields, or submission boxes. If you want to reach us, you send an email from your own account, and we receive it in the ordinary way.
No local storage of personal data. Where the site remembers a preference — such as light or dark appearance — that is stored in your own browser and is never transmitted anywhere.
Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare, which acts as our hosting provider.
Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical information necessary to deliver a page to you. That includes your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, your browser’s user-agent string, and similar request metadata. This processing is inherent to how the web works: a server cannot send you a page without knowing where to send it.
Cloudflare may retain request logs and security data in accordance with its own policies. We do not access these logs, do not analyse them, and do not use them to build any picture of visitors. If you want to know what Cloudflare does with this information, their published privacy documentation is the authoritative source and we would encourage reading it rather than relying on our summary.
We hold no server-side records of visits ourselves.
If you write to one of our addresses, we have your email address and the contents of your message, because you sent them to us.
We use that information to read and reply. It is not added to any list, not used for any other purpose, and not shared with anyone. There is no marketing.
Email is handled through a commercial mail provider, as almost all email is. Messages are kept while there is a reason to keep them and deleted when there is not.
Safeguarding correspondence is retained rather than deleted on request. We say this plainly because a record that has been erased cannot protect anyone later. If you ask us to delete something and it relates to a safeguarding matter, we will tell you that we are keeping it and why.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you, and to object to its processing.
In practice, the only personal information we hold is email correspondence you have sent us. If you would like to know what that is, or would like it deleted, write to [email protected] and we will do so, subject to the safeguarding exception above.
For anything Cloudflare holds in its capacity as our hosting provider, their own procedures apply.
Children
This site is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If anything on this page stops being true — if analytics are added, if a newsletter is introduced, if a form appears — this page will be updated before the change goes live, not afterwards, and the effective date will change.
We will not add tracking quietly. That commitment is easy for us to make because we do not want the data, and we would rather state it here where it can be checked than rely on you assuming it.
